CTC introduces new hospitality/culinary courses at Marble Falls’ site

Central Texas College (CTC) recently announced is it will offer several new courses in the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts programs this spring at the new vocational/technical building in Marble Falls. The new courses can be applied to a certificate of completion or associate degree plan.

The new hospitality management courses are Hospitality Management (HAMG 1321) which introduces students to the world of the hospitality industry; Sanitation and Safety (CHEF 1305) which covers sanitation practices in the food industry and work place safety standards; and Dining Room Service (RSTO 1204) which introduces the principles of dining room organization, management of food service personnel professional table service.

In addition, CTC will also offer Fundamentals of Baking (PSTR 1301) which includes which includes baking terminology, tool and equipment use and other basics of baking.

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. Information is also available by calling CTC at 830-693-4645. Registration for the spring semester begins November 29.
